We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak. – 2 Corinthians 4:13 KJV

Talking the word of God is very important to us as God’s children, it’s an aspect of our spiritual life that we must not take lightly. The Bible instructs us in Joshua 1:8, it says, “this book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth…” What does this mean? What it means is that, you and I should always speak the word of God. Let the word of God be in your mouth all the time.

Speaking the word of God is confessing the word, it is the proof that you believe what the word says. I you agree with what God says in His word, you will say it out, that shows that you believe in the word; this is very important because, God’s word doesn’t work for any man who doesn’t believe in it, you must believe what God says to be the absolute truth and prove that you believe by saying it before it can produce result for.

Our theme scripture says, “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.” From this verse, we can see that, the spirit of faith causes people to speak; the spirit of faith therefore, is not a quiet spirit, it’s a spirit that always makes you speak and say what God says. Saying what is written from the heart proves we believe; this is why quiet Christianity is not the best, being a Christian who is not the word talker won’t help, you have to always speak the word, because it is what you believe and say that you will see.

Don’t talk your challenges, talk the word; don’t talk your feelings, talk the word; don’t talk sickness, talk the word. Whatever the situation is, if it is unpleasant, all you need to do is to know what God’s word says about it and keep saying it, and in a very short time, everything will change to what you say consistently. Be a word talker.

Confession
I am a tree of righteousness, planted by God, I bring out excellent fruits: I am a success, I am prosperous, I am full of health, I excel in all I do, and I enjoy the peace of God always. Hallelujah!
